Cooking Class 1: Chicken Rice!

chopchopchop the chicken..
massage massage massage the chicken..
cut cut cut the ginger..
wash wash wash the rice..
slice slice slice the cucumber..
yay! chicken rice done!

And now..
THE RECIPE!
(Quick! Go grab a pen and paper!)
INGREDIENTS
- 2 chicken thighs
- ginger
- 3 cloves of garlic
- light soya sauce (jiang qing)
- pepper
- sesame oil
- salt
- 1 1/2 cup of rice
- 1 cucumber
START!
THE CHICKEN
- Chop the chicken thigh into small pieces.
- Marinate with ginger, garlic, light soya sauce, pepper and sesame oil.
- Massage the chicken :)
THE CUCUMBER
- Soak in water for..awhile. (So that the skin is soft when eaten :))
- Cut it into slices.
THE RICE
- Wash the rice 3 times and add water! (just follow your pot for amount of water :P)
- After 5 mins, or when the rice starts to boil, add the marinated chicken into the pot/rice cooker.
SERVE
- Stir up everything so that the flavor goes through all the rice.
- Serve with alot of cucumbers
TA-DUM! ALL DONE!
Now happily eat! :)
now i wonder whats for next week.... :D
